The story of Borka, the need to be accepted for who you are and find where you belong, resonates as much today as it did when the book was published. What better way to celebrate 60 years of Borka: The Adventures of a Goose with no Feathers than with this very special opera based on John's picture book.
We have been tasked with preparing a new production of the family opera Borka: The Adventures of a Goose with no Feathers (Music by Hepplewhite, Libretto by Tim Yealland) based on the 1963 classic picture book (story and illustrations) by John Burningham which was commissioned by English Touring Opera in 2014.
