Russell Hepplewhite (Composer & MD) is recognised as a leading music-theatre composer. His ground-breaking operas commissioned by English Touring Opera for young audiences have been widely performed, and won him critical acclaim. The most successful of these operas, Laika The Spacedog, has been performed across Europe including an all new production at the Opera Nouvel in Fribourg Switzerland. Other operas include The Price, and Ever Young both for W11 Opera; The Casket Girl for Jubilee Opera, and Moonfleet The Musical for the Salisbury Playhouse in 2018. His music is published by OUP, Stainer and Bell, and Banks Music Publications. With acclaimed author Michael Rosen Russell composed the 2020 set of Friday Afternoons songs commissioned by Snape Maltings, he has been the composer in residence with the Arcubus Ensemble since the ensemble began, and is currently working on a brand new opera for the Montpellier Opera in France.
Susan Moore (Dramaturg & Stage Director) is an experienced performer, arts education specialist, and successful stage director. She made her directorial debut in 2011 and her productions for children and family audiences include: ETO (Shackleton’s Cat Revival Director - 2018), W11 Opera (The Price - 2016, Cutlass Crew - 2017, Shadowtracks - 2018) Hackney Development Music Trust (The World Was All Before Them - 2018 and We’ll Meet Again - 2020) and Jubilee Opera (The Casket Girl - 2019). Most recently she became Artistic Director of W11 Opera and is writing a celebratory operatic revue, JUKEBOX, for their 49th production this December.
Clio Burroughs began her career as an arts administrator in the exhibitions department at the British Museum supporting critically acclaimed projects. Following her passion for live performance, Clio made the move to take on a similar role at Hampton Court Palace in the Creative Programming & Interpretation Department of Historic Royal Palaces. In 2018 she began working freelance and her clients now include: V&A and W11 Opera as well as several one-off projects for freelance performers. In 2020 she became W11 Opera Company Manager.
Daniel Taylor is a freelance Graphic Designer and Illustrator. He studied at the University of Portsmouth and is now based in East London. He creates thoughtful and charming designs through the exploration of typography, illustration and imagery.
